♦ Wat Pan Tao : alm bowls for you to put in coins to make merit


♦ Wat Umong : tunnels!
an hour walk west of the Old City


♦ Wat Pa Pao :

quite a small temple just outside of the moat of the northeast of the Old City... looks a bit abandoned, almost an Angkor type feel — very different from the other temples.






♦ Wat Sri Supan : cool silver temple
* some great local eateries nearby : chicken/pork dishes at 30+ baht

♦ Wat Pha Khao : opens even at night — lit up in and out with changing colors
♦ Wat Muen Toom
